Your details and files
Plot Docs is run by Chris Pattenden. This notice explains what happens to the information you send through this website.
What I collect
- Your name and email address.
- Your answers to the brief questions and any notes.
- The files or links you send me.
- Payment details are handled by the payment provider (Stripe). I never see your card number.
Why I use it
Only to make and deliver your document, to contact you about it, and to keep basic business records. The lawful basis is that it's needed to carry out the work you've asked for.
Who else sees it
No one, apart from the services that run this site: the website host, which receives form submissions, and the payment provider. Your content is never shared or used as a public example without your written permission.
How long I keep it
Your files are deleted 30 days after your document is delivered. Invoices and payment records are kept for six years, as UK tax rules require.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time by messaging me. If you're unhappy with how it's handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
